Took this looking out to St Mary's lighthouse from Blyth one moody day in February. The sun was low in the sky in the west and a storm was coming in on the East. I have enhanced the sky to give a more moody threatening look.

PP Work - Adjusted colour levels blurred the sky to reduce noise, added border, resized for TL.

Hope you like it.

Hi Bri,

That is what I call a great sky, I like the silhouetted lighthouse and waves crashing. The pov is very good and I really like the reddish hint to the sky.

Hi Brian,
A spectacular presentation of this marvellous sunset shot with a storm approaching.
Fabulous different levels of lighting. Nice shiny waves and a fantastic sky.
Superb reflections and highlights in the water with the island with that magnificent tower being the focal point.
Very great atmosphere in this shot.
My best regards,

Francis Xavier

Great colors....
Exceptional clarity and sharpness...

Evening Bri,

Excellent PP work to get this moody post. The blurring of the sky works a treat.
Just one very minor negative, which is easily fixed and that's the dirt spot on the top 3/4 point.

Hola Bri
Increible imagen con una excelente iluminacion y nitidez en la que se puede observar las nubes bajas y el agua de la superficie movida por el viento , gran colorido y un momento espectscular , gracias por compartir

Hi Brian

The color tonality is perfect among with nice shadows and highlights
Best wishes

Wow Brian, what a dynamic picture !
I love the colors and the movements in it. I can nearly feel the atmosphere, indeed, a moody photo.
Very good composition and light control.

This of course is spectacular ,i find the light remarkable , as my eyes follow a trajectory going from left to right the climatic conditions improve somewhat , i know this is the kind of weather that England often copes with , as said above this can make powerful and spectacular photo opps, you were out and about at the right time to catch the spectacle of that storm , the lighthouse bearing the brunt of the storm i can imagine each time one occurs ,thanks Brian , i like this,

Awesome, strong and powerful scene! I can almost the feel the energy emitted by nature. Great DOF and POV. Very well done, tfs.

Boa noite Brian
Great mood with finr sharpness and good colors, with good tonalities.
Lovely and good.

What's a sky!!!! The light creates dramatic feeling to the picture. And that lighthouse adds drama to the picture too. Well done. Sothy

Ciao brian,

very beautiful your image,I find her very intense.
I would have increased the drama cutting the inferior part.

Hello Brian

I love this image. The horizon in the middle I feel is needed to incorporate the storm. Still awesome work. my friend.

Hi Brian,

I told myself that this is a gorgeous sunset of the lighthouse but it also made me laugh as I get the impression of a bad finger. The colors are gorgeous, good job. Cheers.

Hello Brian,

This is a photograph of masterpiece.
You catch the situation well by good composition, excellent tone, so
high sea and sky scenery that can be brought by storm are impressively described. I'm favourite in strength of color of surface of the sea brought by light that pours down over sea. And, lighthouse located a little left at center of screen draws out a good effect for the whole.
