[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
The cruise liner Queen Elizabeth 2 (QE2) docked at Liverpool. Viewed from the deck of the Mersey Ferry as it makes its way across the river Mersey. This as the picture I meant to post last night along with "Queen in Dock".

Frame cropped approx:30%. Small adjustments to white balance, contrast and colour saturation; and of course, sharpened a little

Somehow Bill I do recognise 2 things
Beauty and a photo a little lost due to the distance wich makes it look less important.
If this was a mountain view we know a branch of a tree in front
could give some depth Still a good one! Greetings from India
Vandana

Good one again Bill and I think Vandana mentioned an interesting idea here
Bye bye
Josine

Hello Bill !

The city scape is impressive. Citizens and travellers must be pretty happy to have these huge ships downtown. You choose a very nice POV to coapture both the liner and waterfront skyscrapers.
Cheers!
Robert

Hi Bill,

You've managed to capture a nice shot here... I like your composition (there aren't many trees mid-river for foreground are there?) which takes in the old and the new on our waterfront as well as capturing the ship.

I would have liked to get onto the ferry, that day, but had trouble getting away from work in time!

Good work.

Nigel
