[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Happy New Year to you all. After a New Years Eve in Bristol, I decided to have a look at the Severn Bridge. It was closed to traffic because of strong winds but, rather stupidly, I decided to attempt to walk across it to take some photos.

The wind was so strong it was almost lifting me off my feet. My mini tripod and Cokin filters dropped out of my camera bag and were swept away along the road and into the sea. Ah well, who needs a graduated pink filter, an orange centre-spot and a rainbow-starburst-effect filter anyway? After a couple of hundred yards I had to turn back, and I was enormously relieved to be back on Terra Firma.

However I liked this shot looking eastwards with Oldbury nuclear power station (I think) in the far distance.

The clouds look like they are moving. Nice shot, Will.
It is very cool you can look into the distance. Happy new year, Will.

Hello will, I hope you got your camera bag back!
Beautiful panoramic you have here, I love a clouded sky, especially in winter or fall. I just wish you had posted the larger version too.
I'm intrigued by your note, when you use the words "Terra Firme". What is that? Those are portuguese words.
Congratulations for the great shot, and good year for you.

Very nice shot, very heavy mood but I like it a lot.

Well done and you are very brave!!!...

I adjust the saturation and level a little bit in the workshop version. Hope you like it.

Well done...
