[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note

This is a portrait of my beautiful daughter Francesca. Taken during the Easter holiday on a camping trip (under canvas)in Northumberland.

Given that this was our first holiday in a tent, and that the temp dropped down to about +4 during the evening, she did remarkably well and it was a wonderful experience watching her playing cards by gas light. It amazes me how resilient children are when they are taken out of their normal cossetted, centrally heated environments.

It gave me great pleasure watching her have fun with the simplest of games.

The only light source is the gas light. I've cropped a couple of distractions out of the scene. Hope you like the shot.

This is a picture with a nice atmosphere of toughts and introspection. I was playing with this image and I decided to upload a workshop. Maybe you like it.
