LOL...nice note Jack.
What a great shot. Is that because you have such a good camera? It's such a pity the bride is out of focus though.

Cynicism aside:
This is a great shot, and it has nothing to do with the camera or it's specifications, but all down to the cameraman understanding and using the camera and specifications, and also understanding the difference between a snapshot and a photograph.

Like you, I'm not a fan at all of the flower shot snaps, but this is not a snap. It's a photograph. A photograph that has been composed well, framed well and timed perfectly.
It tells us all a story in a snap (Pardon the pun)

I love the framing here Jack. The bouquet has accurate colours with excellent detail and definition, with all the elements to indicate exactly what the event is about. The timing is perfect too. It looks like the bride is just about to walk out of frame which would have left a nasty bunch of empty space.
Light was kind to you by the look of it too. Cloudy sky, removing any risk of harsh shadow.

Hi Jack

I posted an image with this type of focus and most people criticised it precisely because of the reason you have said. But I like this. The bride in the background gives context but the concentration is on the flowers which are beautifully sharp. Possibly the flowers at bottom right are very slightly over exposed. A photographer's photo that has been well handled.
