Not much to say except I liked the way this scene looked. The view is down one of the roads approaching this small town.

A unique conceptual capture with this great centerfold lampshade. Thanks for sharing. Keep up the good shots.

dan this is boring. sorry. a lamp is a lamp and the way you present it here doesn't show anything that is emotional provoking I dont' know what you mean by it being down the road view. but had you played with it in different angels. maybe the specialness of the road being visible could be more emphasized. as it is right now. this is so ordinary. nothing special. blah. i disagree with icoy. please don't take offense. your other photos are soo much better than this. I know you are a great photographer and I just had to call it to your attention that the emperor has no clothes today!

a great demo of narrow DOF with the focus bang on the lamp! The exposure is good too; both on the lamp and street scene outside!

Dan,
I like how this image captures the feelig that the lamp is looking out the window to the world outside. While a simple shot, it evokes a something more in response of the viewer - well at least for me.

A very artistic way to photograph a lamp.
Interesting atmosphere , perfect focus and sharpness ont the main subject.
Beautiful lighting and great vertical presentation.
In my opinion, it tells a story.
