[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Glass has been a medium to create art for millennia. In the ancient world of Egypt, Rome and Greece wonderful objects in glass were made. This great era for the arts was followed by the Dark Ages, when creativity was stifled. The renaissance brought a new age of enlightenment in science, music and visual arts. Glass was no exception. The imaginative use of colour and form soon established glass as a popular art form. In the 20th century with works by artists like Galle and Lalique art glass became recognized as a one of the fine arts.

Gibraltar Crystal's blown glass artists master the many glass making techniques required to create truly magnificent works of art.

Hi Tsilla,
A rather commercial presentation of this Glass Manufacturing Company of Gibraltar. I recommend them to buy this photo and include it in their brochures!
A very sharp image adorned with perfect light and the vivid colors are attractive.
Well done,

Francis Xavier

Hi Tsilla.

The tones and the light are very appealing, the addition of the poster, the paving and the wall tones add much to the feel of this capture. Nice touch with the framing too.

Hi Tsilla, this sculpture of a glass blower is very realistic & a great advertisement for this art.On viewing the thumbnail I thought it was nice of the glassblower to take his work outside for you to capture,it was not until I viewed the full size that I realized this was a sculpture. An unusual & very interesting frame,I wonder what the next image is:-)

Very nice capture of this artist. I love watching those artists do wonders with the glass. Good lighting and dof with nice details. Wonderful colors. Well done, tfs.
