May 9th is a special day in Jersey, celebrating the Liberation of the Island from German Occupation in 1945. This year was special, to mark the 70th anniversary of the occasion. A huge parade was held in St. Helier, the capital of the Island. The Jersey
Silver Band headed the band. I thought this bandsman was worth recording. |
