Dunluce Castle, a ruined medieval castle in Northern Ireland.Located on the edge of a basalt out crop.

Beautiful on a sunny day, but just imagine when the winds are blowing, and the waves are splashing.

Thanks for looking.

Hi Jean
You were brave getting this photograph. I'm impressed with the lengths you go to to get a decent shot.
I do like the point of view, is that a grave stone in the central foreground? I do find the left hand side a bit too dominant. Maybe it's because I feel a bit vulnerable when I have to walk past it to get to the castle.
Seriously, an excellent photo.

Hi Jean,
Fantastic work. Excellent view of sea. Very well managed the frame, lights , colors and composition very well done.
Best regards.

Boa noite Jean,
Na awesome gothic image! We wait the cries of fantomatic souls.
Very fine shot and adequate framing.
Have a nice WE.

Hi Jean, Fantastic POV and composition. It is scary when one looks downward towards the mountain foot and hear the waves splashing under the feet. Fantastic light. Thank for sharing¸

Hi Jean

Great shot - the outcrop on the left leads the viewer into the picture and onto the castle. It certainly looks a bleak place, even in the summertime.

Hello Jean
Such a great POV...The view of the sea gives a nice depth.
superb ruined castle on beautiful green hills...

Good week

Looks like this castle had a beautiful view of the ocean, too bad it is now a ruin. The low pov provided a good perspective. Good lighting in spite of the clouds and good details. Well done, tfs.

Hi Jean,
I thought "that's Dunure Castle on the Ayrshire coast" - but oopps wrong country, I may have cropped a little of the LHS or brightened it up a little

Visions of Tintagel.

An epic stretch of coastline here with ruins to set the mind wandering.

Hi Jean...nicely composed shot with excellent focus and exposure.
