Another view of Dunluce Castle but this time from a higher point of view.Built right on the edge of the cliff, access is via the footbridge only, a perfect place to defend!
From the cliff there are views right along the coast either way, so no approaching secretly by sea then!

Thanks for looking.

what a lovely view Jean. I love the POV, colour, and exposure . Nice work TFS

Hi,fine composition with excellent DOF.The colors are natural from the fresh greens to the distant sea with the gray walls of the castle in between.Regards,Otto.

Hi Jean,
Sure is a great view and well presented.

Hello Jean

Boy would I like that fixer-upper. Great location and view. Why is the ruins not brought back to it's original grandeur? I guess that is why they call them ruins ;)

Very well done Jean...Even reading the note gives a good feeling about the castle, let alone visiting the place!

Beautiful view of this picturesque castle, excellent photo, nice composition

Hi Jean, the other view showed it out over the rocks but this one shows just how hard it is to get in there.. Is that the path in the hollow, that was leading down the hill in the previous shot?Fiona

much like the pictures of old and abandoned castles, beautifully photographed, you can imagine what was life in them
pozdrav Darko
