Hi Jean
The tree branches on the top makes beautiful framing element plus leads the attention to the BG details which is captured with good details cool greenish tones on the branches.

Hi Jean,
Beautiful pastel colors in the upper part of the photo and a contrasting bottom!
Perfect sharpness and good light management. The upper part by itself would have been enough to present an artistic presentation.
I like it!
Regards,

Francis Xavier

Bonsoir Jean,

TFS.
Cordialement
Yolande

Hi Jean,
I feel like the mill by itself is a wonderful image, the river have darker klight and can be another image. If I was you I would create two images, because the light is different for each... It’s just my opinion, as I always say, If the photographer liked it... who am I to change. One other idea, try to select the area from teh top of the wall to teh bottom and give it more light, it might work. Nice work & TFS

Beautifully captured Jean , particularly pleasant is the way you have used the branches as a buffer zone to the mill and its retaining wall , gives the scenery behind an air of mystery/secrecy like you were coming to an abrupt end by a brook and a high wall , like stumbling adventurously upon the site, perhaps it's the adventurer in me thinking up this scenario but i like to have this feeling/impression when i look at this image .
Finding new angles/perspectives is the most difficult part of shooting scenes of known places , bravo for coming up with this unsual one ,
My best regards,
Carol

Ola Jean
Another shot from Gibson Mill, and another beautiful photo.
Very dinamic the perspective you've adopted with the leaves between the lens and the buildings, excellent color and light, and a very well done composition.
My compliments, mb

Hi Jean,

I am itching to see the workshop. All I would do would be be to burn in the bg & dodge the fg. The moss indicated lots of rain. Good diffused light & tfs!
