Morning Trekkies,

At the moment I am practiseing taking photos of birds (hence my recent postings of winged beasties) todays offering is a Robin red breast I took several of this little chap/chapess he seemed to get more and more confident in my presance and started getting nearer and nearer until someone else came along the path and scared him off.

Good sharpness on the eye where it matters, and also on the beack and claws. feet. talons. whatever they are :-)

I like the composition and POV as well, sweet little birds, these ones!

Hello Tom
Excellent sharp photo of this lillte bird.
Haven't managed it myself like this. Very good job.
Composition wise, maybe turn it clockwise some degrees, so the branch is more diagonal in the picture ?
Congrats with the result anyway.
Cheers, Jan

Great capture Tom, nice sharp image and great use of focus.

Nice festive image, all you need to make it better, is a little snow. :-)

Nice close up shot Tom, clear as the proverbial bell, well done!
Cheers, Dad

an unusual POV and great choice of DOF.

well seen and done.

Nice shot Tom, great sharpness for a relatively slow shutter speed and the focus is in the right place. I like the composition and the pose too.
Cheers, John.

Hiya Tom

Absolutely superb, excellent sharpness and good colour. Perfect DOF and excellent POV on the side of the branch giving extra character.

TFS regards Helen

Excellent capture, good DOF and great exposure and focus Tom ... Robins can become very tame once they get used to the same person .. I have one that uses a bird feeder and I can walk by less than meter away and he still feeds ...you have given me an idea now .. :o)
