Beautiful photgraph. I love the angle in which you showed the slope and also the light management.

Maybe a good idea to use a tripod. It saves you time to compose and fight the mozzies. I had the same problem a few days ago and was glad that my camera was sitting snug on my tripod.
Besides the fight with the nasty insects, the result of the photo is wonderful. The many curves of the garlic fields and the brances has given this entire composition a wonderful view. I really like the soft diffused light through the fresh new leaves. The entire photo has a bit of a dreamy feel to it. The use of the CP did not only cut down on the reflection, it also saturated the colors beautifully. All in all certainly worth the pain you had to endure.

It's always worth it after the event,at least that's what I usually say when I come back from a long day in the highlands after climbing a mountain and usualy falling in some river or waterfall on the way up or down. This is definately worth the hassle and pain, nice colours and good composition, don't like the sound of that green and yellow spider!.

It sounds as if you have been enduring torture!!
What photographers will do for a good shot!!
Actually, the trials and tribulations were worth it!
This is a fine shot.
The evening colours are beautifully saturated and the twinkling sun is perfectly positioned in the frame.
I like how the richly coloured pathway marks a fine diagonal across the frame, flanked by the wild garlic on one side and the thin army of trees on the other.
I will be looking for your flower shots now!

Très jolie composition avec ces belles courbes qui donnent beaucoup de douceur à l'image.Belle lumière diffuse dans les arbres et beau jeu d'ombres.Le FG fleuri et verdoyant donne du relief à l'image.Bien vu bien fait. Bravo Jamie!Catherine

As an artist you supposed to suffer for your art. (Rather you than me though). Excellent work Jamie.
