|Managed to get out to take some photos recently. We visited Saltram house, a National Trust property and I took this photo. When I looked at it later, I thought it fit the Friday theme of simple elegance. I particularly liked the dappled light in this image.|

Bom dia Bob,
Amazing image. Great depth and very good control of natural light.
A great entry to the Theme.
I like this scene and imagining a tea party from the past, like a Maupassant atmosphere, simply elegant.
The light is interesting, so nice, at first glance I thought that I would have liked a closer framing but the shadows give interest to the scene.
It's well thought out, a delightful image.
p.s : It seems that there is a dysfunction with the friday theme.
The photos are not added to the theme correctly.
here is the theme, page 12 : http://www.treklens.com/themes.php?thid=5835

Simple composition with beautiful lighting,
A good resemblance to the meaning of elegance, I just feel that a tighter crop, excluding the foreground floor area and a section of the top, could have given a tighter view.
