|Hello everyone, you might be forgiven for thinking that because of the colours, that this is autumn, but no, this was taken last April.|
A type of maple, I think, displaying beautiful red leaves.
I liked the way that the sun shone through the leaves and emphasised their lovely pattern and shape.
Taken in the grounds of Lukesland House, situated right on the edge of Dartmoor. The grounds are open to the public in the spring and autumn for visitors to enjoy the colours of the trees, shrubs and flowers.
Thanks for looking.

Could be Japanese Maple. Love the repetition of the shapes, color & patterns. Good sharpness & nice how it almost fills the entire frame. Tfs!

C'est un érable rouge magnifique au printemps et qui reste comme cela jusqu'à l'automne....
Jolie lumière et joli jeu du ciel jouant à cache cache avec les feuilles...
Love the blast of colors, Jean!
This is so beautiful with so energetic colors captured with balanced light and sharpness.
Well caught mood in this picture!
Good morning Jean,
Excellent autumn full frame composition shown by the vegetation on a flamboyant pastel sky BG.
Clarity and presentation satisfaisante.TFS
