[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Another piece of artwork, and again not for Fridays theme.

Taken in the grounds of Delamore House; part of their 2010 annual exhibition.I have been unable to discover who the artist was unfortunately.
I just liked the shadow that was created by the bright sunlight.
I haven't done much to this in PP,added a little contrast to make the shadow stand out more, and applied unsharp mask, before re-sizing.

Thanks for looking.

I see the wings of a butterfly...I need get out more, sorry. lol.

Hi Jean.

Having played with natural stone and walls etc, I can apprieciate immensly how this was put together. I love the effect and the way the sun has cast its shadow as well. Looking at the tell-tale signs, there looks like a ring of metal as the core and the stone was threaded on like beads. The effect is awesome Jean. Nice touch with the shad eof the tree as your BG too....as they used to say in school ,many years ago, "Jean, go to the top of the class.....and give out the pencils"

Stv :0))

Hi Jean

Good strong side & back lighting to give a double circle effect. Superb sharpness and excellent density & lighting contrasts. The bracelet style of construction with all the similar wedges of stone is unusual. Tfs!

Hi Jean,
Nice play with light and shadow. You produced a lovely piece of art with this simple spherical monument. Nice green tones and excellent light on the bronze garland.
I like the composition and the POV you chose.
My best regards,

Francis Xavier

Bonjour Jean,

I like the 3-D approach with amazing focus and clarity, Jean!
The sharpness and POV are excellent, and a good play between light and shadow is shown nicely.
Well caught mood in this work!

Kind regards,

Ciao Jean, great artwork, splendid light, excellent clarity and wonderful colors, very well done, my friend, ciao Silvio

Very nice found and the shadow make it more interesting. I wish the b/g was not there though :D
