'A cube', well what else could I call this shot?
Suggestions on a postcard please.[Only joking!]

This is not for fridays theme, by the way.
Once again in the grounds of Delamore House enjoying their annual exhibition of sculptures and artwork.
The piece is by Henry Bruce, and is entitled 'Horizon cube.' [Sorry but I cannot give you any further information about him.]The steel and aluminium cube is set within the framework of a 12 foot cube.

A white sky yet again, but could not crop out any more than I did, as I wanted to keep part of the frame in shot.I hope the colours of the shrubs and trees make up for the lack of colour in the sky.

Ciao Jean, lovely and original composition with great cube, excellent clarity, splendid light and colors, very well done, my friend, ciao Silvio

Love the texture on the surface of the cube with amazing details you managed to preserve in this shot, Jean!

Marvelous light control and exposure is nice as well.
The completely blown out sky is a minor issue but overall, I like the graphism you got in this shot.
Well done!

Have a nice weekend.

Best regards,
Paras

Hi Jean.

Wow!! check out the rich borders, they cascade so well, and such vivid colours too. I can safely say I've never seen a sculpture like this in grounds of a home, its so unusual. You get the feeling that you can see through the opaqueness but you say it's aluminium so we see reflections instead. I should imagine it looks a picture from a distance as well.
I like the image Jean, its certainly one to take over.
The sky matters not with this in the foreground and the colourful hedgerow. TFS

Hi Jean

An unusual cube sculpture for sure with the hair like filaments inside adding intrigue. Good sharpness, graphism and diffused light. The bg shrubs add a welcome splash of colour. Tfs!

Really interesting art. The cube looks like transparent. From the size i think its not easy to get a decent shot.

Bonjour Jean,:
Congratulations my friend
Best regards
Odile

This reminds me of the science fiction novel about a cube. Sometimes cloudy days can be good, I like the diffuse lighting it shows the cube in 3D. Good details and nice framing. Well done, tfs.
