I am calling this shot...'Taking a dip'.

We are fortunate in having a house close to where we live, that every May hold an exhibition in their grounds displaying sculptures and statues.[Many are for sale.]
This sculpture is made by the artist Jenny Wynne Jones. She models her work in clay, then casts in bronze or in bronze resin.

I think that this model is named 'Arethusa',I think.Apologies if I am mistaken.

Thanks for looking.

She's up to her knees in it!!

Hi Jean

Super addition to theme friday, perfect idea for a portrait style framing here. The hnts of attractive light reflecting thro' the water in this ful light scene, grabs much of the attention.

No doubt many of these pieces are not cheap too.
Have a good weekend Jean, not sure yet what i;m doing other than checking the bees after this wet spell. TFS

Stv :0))

A well seen shot with superb light and exposure, Jean!

The colors are original and clarity is nice.
I like the POV you have gone for in this picture.
Well done!

A nice entry to Friday's theme!

Hi Jean

I like the downward pov & the rippled patterns on the water. Good sharpness & excellent contrasted light. The bg diagonal path adds tension & dynamism. Have a great weekend!

Hi Jean,
I like this particular POV to capture this statue against such lovely light reflecting on the slightly agitated water by a gentle breeze!
A very sharp image adorned with perfect light management. Beautiful highlights on the statue.
Well done,

Francis Xavier
