The theme is 'blue',and what is more natural than the sky and the sea?
Being on the coast and having these wonderful views with these beautiful colours is my idea of heaven.

A poem written by Lilian Moore that I thought fitted this picture today:-

Until I saw the sea
I did not know
that wind
could wrinkle water so.

I never knew
that sun
could splinter a whole sea of blue.

Nor
did I know before
a sea breathes in and out
upon a shore.

Thanks for looking.

Hello Jean.
I like your composition with a small amount of the sky.

Yes, the poem sure fits this image. You can understand how awesome and even fearful the sea is to those who have never seen it before.
Lovely natural colours Jean,
Janice

An excellent contribution to the blue theme here Jean! I love the view! Really nice!

Hello Jean Nice shot I used to go down there a lot over the yrs, nice feeling seeing this brings back memories of St Just, Penzance, Lands end.... like going to a different country. You did really well with the composition and the quality looks fine. Can't beat the Cornish coast for fresh air and rugged windy landscapes. My best rgds Necip.

Oddly enough, I thought I had critiqued this shot yesterday (computer and net problems on my end, it seems -- sorry).
So let me try again!
I love the composition here: good diagonals and superb textures throughout. The colours are fabulous, especially those all-important blues!

Hello Jean
Yes I agree.... I love this sort of photo.. the wonderful "blue" sea and sky... very nice with the rough rocks against the soft sea!
