[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
This little Turnstone was enjoying its walk on the harbour wall at St.Ives in Cornwall, looking for something to eat.
The stones that the wall is built from are just too big for the little bird to turn!!

If you see the Turnstones on the beach, you will see them using their beaks turning over pebbles etc., in the hope of finding some food.

When they fly they have a very distinctive V marking across their backs and wings. They are beautiful little birds.

This one seemed quite tame and was not unduly worried when we got up close.

Thanks for looking.

This is very sweet with excellent detail and color. The stones make a lovely background. TFS

Hello Jean, the textures and colors of the birds against the textures of the stone work very well. Great composition and good technical elements. Well done,
