[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
This shows water and a couple of smooth stones on the rocky beach at Porth Nanven (close to Lands End in Cornwall) - a favourite location of mine. Taken quite late in the day (just before sunset).

At the taking stage: I used a telephoto lens to isolate this little bit of the scene. Used a fairly slow shutter speed (about 2 secs) - partly because I wanted to blur the water a little bit, and partly because there wasn't much light.

Post-processing: A little bit of cropping, levels adjusted, and a slight diffusion applied (in an attempt to enhance the milky/soft appearance of the water).

Nice composition John, the water almost looks like smoke around the rocks and the lighting from the left is very effective.
