'The power of flowers'.
I was thinking about what title to give this shot, when it occurred to me, on how many occasions do we use flowers to give a message to someone? I will not attempt to answer my own question!I will leave you to think about it.

I know that not every member of TL enjoys the shots of flowers that appear daily on this site, but just imagine a world without any, what a very dull place it would be, and how poor we would be for the lack of them!

Unsure as to what this flower actually is; it was on a shrub in the grounds of Lanhydrock and its pure white beauty just begged me to take a shot. Please identify it for me if you can.
Thanks for looking.

The details are fantastic and the way filaments of the flowers are protruding out of the heart against the fragile white petals of the flower are just lovely, Jean!

Great focus and perfect sharpness in well balanced light and exposure.
The colors are natural and POV is excellent too.
Good placement of subject within an élégant frame.

Thanks for sharing.

Hi Jean,
A very sharp image of this core of white flower. Perfect details and perfect diffused lighting to obtain this optimum exposure.
Very neat work.

Hi Jean.

As far as I'm concerned, keep um coming daily.
Two aspects of this beautiful image caught my eye. The so sharp detail to the fronds and the way they dance infront of us over these so soft white petals. The other is the inclusion of the second bloom resting below adding more interest and of course depth. You even show tight detail to the edge of the leaf with fine hairs.

I am usure as to the name of this lovely flower Jean, its so lkie certains ones i know but not exact. As you know I use flowers to give messages....if you can attract attention for someone to look at something beautiful, they will then read the message, take care, tfs

stv ;o))

What perfection, what a treat.
My own thought.
Live in the country and see the wild flowers gardens or those of friends.
Neighbors in all stages of life.
And perfumes .....

Beautiful! Love the soft lighting and soft focus. I do love flowers and I do wish I can post them daily and I have a few waiting. I like the composition and it has wonderful colors. Well done, tfs.

Hoi Jean,

The clarity and richness is great in this photo !
The colors, contrast, exposure and the natural white background (petals) create a sense of depth.

Ciao Jean, great macro of fantastic flower, wonderful natural colors, beautiful blurry BG, splendid sharpness and fine details, very well done, my friend, ciao Silvio
