Hello everyone,
still at Daymer Bay, but this time scrambling over the rocks to get a better view of the breaking waves.
I cropped the shot so as to focus more on the sea and the spray.

Thanks for looking, your comments are always appreciated.

PP: applied unsharp mask,cropped,contrast+12,added saturation+5,resized for posting.

Hi Jean,

Great POV the sea looks brilliant colours are great and details sharp. I get the feeling from this shot of the wildness of the are and the sea well done.

Textbook composition with perfect placement of the hill-line and foreshore dividing the shot into thirds.

A beautiful sense of light and coolness. This is one of those times I wish the shots posted on TL could be bigger - this would be wonderful at full size!

Hi Jean, this looks a little like home lately!! We had a 24 hour storm and the waves pounded the rocks along the coast.
Good action shot - sometimes I put my camera in SPORT mode to shoot a moving shot like this. It seems to make the waves and spray show up more.
Nicely composed too

hello Jean

Very dramatic as if I were standing at the rocks to see the wave action, especially from this low angle view. Perhaps due to the misty air and your focus on the FG, the BG appears to have nice bokeh.

Sometimes it feels great to face the waves splashing up and breaking the air.

tfs, bill

The magnetic attraction of a rugged coastline:) Love the natural light and textures, and the sense of the salty mist rising from the crashing waves. Good composition and balance within the frame. Well done.

Daymer Bay seems to be a beautiful place, I like very much this landscape with the sea and rocks at the first plan. Nice coulors too.
Stunning shot, congratulation Jean.
