Playing around with shapes and colours. I wanted the light to come lower and give more shadow from the smarties, but I didn't succeed this time.

Reactions about composition, light.. Anything?

Hi Johanna. Very nice photo. I like the colors and the shapes. Johanna, can you give me a smartie? I love smarties! Well dine.

:)) I am having the same life here..teaching the colors and numbers by smarties...
I liked the idea..I would prefer to see them filling the frame..at a lower angle so macro feeling comes out more...or not cut at the right...
I tried a ws..just to see what it would be with morew white around...

Photo amusante et originale, il fallait y penser. Bravo Johanna.
Les couleurs sont éclatantes.

Great macro Johanna, and I love smarties too! Not sure whether you used a flash or not, but you would need to use extra lighting to get the shadow effect, and the smarties would need a bit more space. Also - no flash and thus a tripod. I see you made a shape of a heart - great idea, but does not work well with the DOF you have set - too centered. Otherwise - great trying something new!

Very nice idea. I like the fact that some smarties were cut out of the picture (a red and a yellow one on the right) - would look boring otherwise (especcially if with a front angle, like 90º with tha platform they're in).
However, would rather see this with peanut M&M's =) humm...
congratulations

You did a great job here Johanna, the light reflections on the Smarties look great and are coming from a good angle. Very nice

John
