[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Across Andalusia's great river Guadalquivir we see the Great Mosque of The Mezquita.
"The mighty walls hide a forest of delicate arches, pillars and a dazzling mirhab."

[The mirhab is usually a niche in the wall of a mosque, or a room in a mosque that indicates the direction of Mecca.]

No-one can prepare you for what the interior of the Mezquita holds. The 850 columns of granite, jasper and marble supporting the roof give a dazzling effect, making one speechless in its' scale.

Thanks for looking.

Hellow Jean,
Great depth and well exposed. Your archetectural details are immaculate.

The layer of greenery to the far bank works perfectly in contrasting with the local stonework.
A treat awaits the traveller.
I do like the amount you show here.

I like those old architectures, I think they are more beautiful than the new ones. Good composition using the trees and the water to lead the buildings. Good details. Well done, tfs.

Beautiful view over the river, excellent light and great depth

Hi Jean
The steps on the left and the trees on the right frame the scene very well. The image is sharp throughout and, of course there is interest throughout. Possibly the water is a bit bare, maybe a boat would help, but I'm nit picking.

Hi Jean..nicely composed shot with good tones and colors. Well done.

Roger

Bonjour Jean
Jolie vue sur le Guadalquivir
the piles of the bridge give a very good sense of depth while adding an interesting effect for the POV
Hope you will (or be authorized to) show the inside

best regards
Henri
