[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Visiting Cordoba, the place that everyone wants to see is 'The Mezquita', Cordoba's great mosque.

"Dating back 12 centuries, it embodied the power of Islam on the Iberian peninsula.Abd al Rahman built the original mosque between 785 and 787."

As we were on a guided tour there was not enough time to plan shots carefully, otherwise we would have lost our way and missed some important information!
I was quite pleased with this shot, as it shows lots of beautiful lines and patterns.
I did not use flash; I prefer to take my chances and make a shot as natural as I can, even in interiors such as this.
Thanks for looking.

You should be pleased Jean, this is beautiful, in architecture, lighting abd perspective, well done.

To me it has a certain Escher quality, wrere the perspective and planes can fool the eye, there is so much detail to be seen.

Once again, well done.

hi, Jean. Nice POV and great exposure to photograph this architectural wonder. Well composed with good clarity. I am glad you did not use the flash since the colors get washed out. Nice informative note.

Hi Jean.

You achieve in giving us much interest within the shot.
The light and the gradient way it covers the walls creates a lovely colour, the different patterns and perspectives the walls make also add the depth and aid the appeal.
Its architecture like this you stand back with a mouth open in wonerment.
Great shot Jean....your trip looks a gem.

stv ;o))

It still amazed me to see buildings built hundreds of years ago still standing and functional. Here in Southern Nevada it's almost a must to implode older structures and build new ones. I like your pov and it has good dof with nice details. Very well done, tfs.
