[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
I already posted something similar on TE, but i couldn't resist of posting here to. Well in a totally different way, of course. This picture was Heavily Post-Processed, with lots of clarifys and blurs

Alcochete is located on the south bank of the River Tagus, near the Tagus Estuary Nature Reserve. Salt has long-been one of the main industries here, and saltpans can still be seen to the north and south of the town.
The town's foundation dates back to the 7th century, after the Moors conquered Lisbon. Its name derives from the Arabic word for kiln, as there have been many found in the area.

In this picture you can see the Parish Church (Igreja Matriz). It is a notable Gothic-Manueline church dedicated to St. John the Baptist. It is classified as a National Monument. There is an interesting rose window in the facade, an entrance and Manueline tower. There are interesting 1700s tile panels on the inside. In one of the outbuildings there are two early 16th century paintings brought here from the Chapel of Nossa Senhora da Conceição dos Matos.
