Another premature baby (a girl with 1900 grams) This one already went home and everything it's ok. Once again the same intention of homage these teeny beings and its enormous will of living.

Be well everyone
Regards from Portugal
António

P.S. In the Workshop i've posted the color photo

P.S.2 I use the advantage of the occasion to inform that the baby in this picture it's ok and soon i will post a bigger picture of him :o)

Hi Antonio,
New shot in the same way than the first one, I presume your job is in relation with newborns... isn't it ?
This one is very good too. But maybe I prefere the previous because of the size comparison of same members (hands).
I'm happy to learn that previous baby get well :)
TFS,
Martine

Hi Antonio! First I am glad that little baby is OK, I am looking forward for his "big" photo :)
This is also good photo, not that powerful as previous but good. IMHO, color version might be better, I suppose skin texture might look better that way (i.e. you can take a look at Chmiley's work.
You've done a good job with the composition and with usage of shallow DOF. Too bad the flash produced ugly shadows here. BTW, is it apropriate to take baby photos with a flash, especially a premature one, who already can have problems with eyes? Just a question, not an attack :) I think I took a (close-up) flash shot of my kid when he was couple of months old.
Good job. I would give you one smiley, but then others will attack me :) Still, the photo has a message of life and that's important.

Regards
Robert

Espectacular!!!Um trabalho muito carinhoso,a delicadeza do fotógrafo a pegar nesses pezinhos minúsculos...lindo
O preto e branco está excelente.

I am really very glad that the babay is ok and doing well. It will be nice to see him bigger. Altho Martine does make a valid point about comparing similar body parts, I do like this one too. TFS

You make me smile:-)))
So beautiful photo with this newborn baby. We are happy to live in this time when premature babys have a great chance to survive. All best to this little one!

beautifull B&W picture, with very strong meaning....
GREAT!

I'm always amazed by these photos! Technically might not be perfect, but I'm so glad you published it anyway. An hymn to life! TFS!

Hi Antonio,
Maybe small... but very precious! Your capture here is full of tenderness, totally unlike your previous... shows you're a versatile photographer - a very good quality in my humble opinion! Well done, again

I personally prefer the B&W version as I think it has more depth for some reason. The tiny feet are so great against the big adult hand. I like the fact that the feet are all we see. Different from your recent post but it shows your versatily as a photographer and I think it is great. Excellent!

P.S. Glad that this tiny baby is doing OK!

António.. This is great poho. And yes we're happy this little sweet man is ok :)) Skin details are impressive.

Hi Antonio, I definitely like the b/w version over the colored one. Great shot again, and thanks for telling us that the other boy is OK.

That breaks my heart. And reminds me of our little girl who was 5 weeks early (I guess I told you that on the previous one), but luckily is doing well and currently sleeping very tight :)

Thanks for letting know the first kid is ok too!

This is really good Antonio. I like it in B&W. It totally complemented with the subject of Big Hands/Small Feet. Thanks for sharing.

quanta inocência e fragilidade. esta fotografia está com uma sensibilidade extrema, muitos parabéns. Grande abraço

Um hino a vida. De fato estes pequeninos seres humanos trazem uma vontade enorme de viver. Foto linda Antonio. Muito tocnate!

Parabens!

Tudo de bom, Stef :))

Magnificent shot Antonia. The silvery tones that the black and white effect gives this image is outstanding. I especially like how there's extreme focus, and such a deliberate blur in the background, it really adds a wonderful sense of depth to the image. A sweet and attentive note really adds the icing to the cake. Well done on catching all the little creases on both the feet and the hand... a sweet image.

Good frame as well!

Biance.
