A 30 second exposure using the Lee Big Stopper of the nature reserve Caldeira do Inferno.

The two obvious caldera shapes are clearly seen from this vantage point. Many different bird species live here during the summer months.

hi.very beautiful pictiur.good luck.

Bom domingo Niek,
Beautiful capture of this magical place and name so expressive.
Good light, sharpness and details. The contrast is that it is somewhat forced, what is perceived by the halo that is seen on the edge of the geographical relief.
Fine image.

I do like the texture of the water within the bay, such an attrcative sheen across it. Nice idea with the exposure length to produce this one.

Hi Niek
Wonderful work...I like this image whit 30 seconds exposure....great image of the Caldeira do Inferno!!

Super pov, looks like a very nice postcard.
Excellent rule of thirds, I don't know why a long exposure ? I always thought the long exposure is only for the night or obscurity.
What is it for a long exposure for a landscape during the light of afternoon ?
For more details?

Hi Niek
Great pov, the long exposure time has a great effect on the water.
I have not yet any experience with long exposure shots, but postings like this is helpful, when I'm gonna have a go at it.

Hi Niek
wonderful seascape. nice colors. fine composition with curves, well balanced with the leveled horizon.
