Crown of Greed
And old street painting decorating an abandoned building in Lisbon. A great number of derelict structures have been the canvas for many street artists around the world.
This one is by the italian Blu, called "Crown of Greed".
The gold crown was suposed to display the logos of the world’s richest oil companies including Chevron, Esso, Shell, Petrobras (BR), BP, Agip and Texaco. Unfortunately sun exposure has rendered those fine details almost unrecognizable.
Though not entirely satisfied with the result, I wanted to share this with you. |

Bright colors, Lauro.
Sucking the oil of the world as if it were coconut water.

Superb street Art, Excellent sharpness and details, i like the rendering of colors and contrast.
The detail I see is that I feel that it is not aligned, as an effect of wide angle, but I do not know.
But that does not bother me because my eyes are on the building and not on the street
Hello Lauro
Amazing that a work art such as this would be displayed on a world class city as Lisbon. Nice capture and informative note.

Olá Lauro,
Parece ser um trabalho HDR!
Cores e textura impressionantes ressaem do contrastante céu intenso.
Cumprimentos,
Lurdes
