An experiment on minimalism. To tell you the truth I really don't know what this is except that it pleases me somehow...

Don't expect to get any points with this image, but if you happen to like it, pleasy try to explain me why :)

Little PP work: crop, B&W channel mix, blue colorcast with split toning, all in Lightroom.

Another excellent presentation of rocks or concrete:-)
indeed great reflections and details one of the beautiful day
image well done LAURO BENVINDA

R.

Hi Lauro!
Great composition and a great picture.
I love the minimalist nature photos like this.
I think the sky is bit overexposed. Maybe its better in B&W.
And also there is something in the left at the way of horizon I should take it out.
Very well done!
Good luck!
ceBen

Hi Lauro,
Interesting special effect of this desolate scene.
erwin...

Nice minimalist design. It is composed of contrasts. The rocks and the water. The solid lines of the rocks and the ripples of the water. The rocks also lead the eye into the picture and you can see the horizon. For me there is always something attractive and soothing about calm water so this is another contrast with the rocks which add structure to the shot.
Hopefully this response helps you id what you like about the shot.
regards
David

Hi Lauro,
Good application of the rule of thirds and using the rocks as repeating patterns leading to the horizon. One thing you can improve the image is to sharpen the first rock to improve your foreground. But overall well composed.

Renier
