An interesting photo. A great POV to capture the family on the beach. All the footsteps on the sand make the overall photo very interesting.

Perfect placement of the people and the wave in the corner. It really does look like an alien atmosphere. Good title.

Hi Teresat..nicely composed shot. You have a lot of courage to move out from the scene this far and it worked out well. Nice photograph.

What a shot from such a height where you showed
the textures of the foot steps of people with a family down there captured with good details and low light condition.

Bom dia Teresa,

This is UNIQUE, I love the title that reminds me of a movie called Dune too.
Excellent for the Albert C. words.
There is a good contrast and management of the light that makes this special moment.
We can imagine that people are in the desert, or on another planet, another world.
Perfect pov makes a great balance.
Teresa my best wishes for the New Year.

Original composition. I like the people isolated in the vaste sand. The image has great atmosphere and inspires in me a sense of solitude, like a person in the world.
Congratulations my friend.

Joli graphisme sur ce sable créé par les empreintes de pa s de plusieurs personnes, c'est harmonieux et la présence de ce groupe humain est le bienvenu et apporte sa dimension au reste du cliché ...

Audacious composition with this bird's eye view! And an image with such connotations which dives me in deeply thoughts : Every step we take brings us back to the starting point of life : the Family!
Timeless image well converted in sepia.

Intresting the foot steps I followed that not going to sea, just wondering around and I'm counting the people there, that looks a family. Your dedication is appreciated by the name of Dune, no doubt that is a Dune, well composed and POV is excellent, TFS.

Very interesting note, makes me want to take a second look at even with human presence, feels to me very lonely, deserted. absurdity, what is not? Like all those foot step, that goes place, and nowhere.
Love the image and execution. As always love your idea, and it's depth (thought or make wonder) emerging from your shots.

Hola Teresa , i remember Nazare as one of several places i enjoyed visiting on my tour of Portugal ,why i liked it so much ? The beach, so interesting to be on that beach for what was going on it ! People were reeling in the fishnets ( 2 groups that day)with tractors( surprise ) then with their bare hands once the loads were high up on the sand , that was so captivating to watch that we spent hours there , men, women and children taking turns at sorting out and delivering the fish in buckets wrapped around a pole set between shoulders to trucks parked nearby ,simply fascinating ! Your image reminds me of that wide expanse of sand in front of the town with a few colorful boats stranded high up on the beach and local families/couples strolling along the water edge in the evening , well did not have a sunset to attend to that night but just being there was formidable .
The tongue of water projecting from the bottom right corner is all that is necessary to tell the viewers this is the Atlantic Sea lapping the beach of Nazare .The 5 persons appear so tiny in this making the beach look like a desert , i know it's not but the impression is strong .
Only have good memories from this town.
Thank you dear for sharing,

"Where have you been .... nowhere."
This can be the text those people can say to each other. It looks like this is nowhere.
Nice capture. Funny to see the steps of people who have been here before.

Greetings Teresa,a very moody scene. I thought it might be relevant to what's happening with TL at present, perhaps the group are TL members awaiting the arrival of the computer technician to land & fix the sites problems :-)

The shadows from the people, the texture of the sand & footstep make this a magical picture. Well done Teresat.
Remarquable cette prise......
Je constate qu'une photographie aussi simple peut avoir un impact incroyable......J'adore celle-ci !!!
Je ne connaissais pas La parole d'Albert Camus...et je l'adore aussi !!!!

Our life is mapped ....or is it.
We have a choice as to which path to follow...or do we.
I see an image with numerous paths people have taken, do they arrive at the some place, I wonder.
I see such small people in the distance, do they know where they are going, are they following a path or do they make a new one for someone else to follow.
Your tonal values speak much to the mood and feel of this image, the diagonal light to shade offering hope and clarity, the dark outlining the edge of despaire.
They stand and stare out, is there hope coming there way.
Teresa, you recharge my soul with your work. XX
