Hi Lila and welcome to TL
A very interesting image that works well in your B&W conversion.
There are a number of distractions for me though... The frame is too heavy and perhaps the black should be a grey tone picked out of the image and semi-opaque. Secondly, I think the image would work better if the houses were a little lower to centralise the symmetrical shapes in the image - maybe crop some of the water to even the symmetry and make the image look more like a wider shot?
