Hi Pablo,
I'm not quite sure but I think farmers use these flowers on the field for one year to prepare the soil for a potato crop.
My granddad had lots of flowers in his garden and these were also part of a wide variety.
They are lovely and give that warm summer feel we seem the miss right now!

I planted them in my gardens. I like old fashioned flowers. I grew lots of seeds, some I oredered from eastern USA. They grow wild many places I camped. the garden varity is more delicate. I even had tiny ones.

Good compo, nice colours, informative note. I don't agree with the opinion that the photo isn't so special. It's a great one. At least I like it. Tfs.
Addition to the note: seed of lupin's toxic and causes painful death, because it paralyzes the muscles of breathing (but nothing else), so the poor guy, in most of the cases little children becomes suffocated without brain-shock, (s)he's conscious of his/her slow suffocation within a few hours. Horrible.

Beautiful visual, I already saw of these plants here in São Paulo, in fact them healthy very beautiful, and interesting you she to speak that they are not cultivated in garden, I think they don't like of they be arrested. Outdoors they feel very well.

Hi Pablo, though winter has just got started this little flashback to summer was well enjoyed.
I do love seeing our fields and ditches full of Lupins, and here you captured them very good. Colors are natural with good saturation, detail is super and a pleasing composition. Hi Pablo,
Crystal clear colors and stunning details to these lovely early summer bloomers. Lupines can be found all along the coast of Maine and I have tried to plant them at home but with no luck. I guess the grow best wild. The are particularly healthy looking.
