[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
A very good Whit Sunday dear TL-friends!

This is the steeple of the church of our village Renesse.
Really nothing special.....
The banner on the tower is particularly because of the text: "Met Pinksteren krijgen we de Geest" ("On Whitsun, we get the Spirit").
The village priest has made that banner and at first of course he meant the Holy Spirit.

He also points to the many spirit-rich fluid (alcohol) which is used during the weekend of Whitsun.
Our small village on Pentecost is visited by thousands of young holidaymakers, mainly Germans.
The whole weekend it is a huge outdoor party with music, dance and much beer, lots of beer (that's the other spirit....).

Last night I just have taken a look in the village, you could walk on the heads.
At least I drank a beer at home.....

Excellent architectural shot. Nice texture and view.

Interesting crop to the top of the spire - very sharp and good colour Adri..

To be honest I'm never keen on text within the frame (being a simple man myself LOL) but that's my personal take on it..

I like the photo part....

Interesting presentation here, original post. F16 has kept everything sharp and clear, the building stands out perfectly against the bright blue sky. Your note was also very helpful in understanding this photo. Well done.

Dus je zei gewoon proost toen je je pilsje thuis dronk ?
Hopelijk is de Geest niet uit de fles gekomen bij de vele jonge Duitsers.!
Mooie strak blauwe lucht. Daar heeft de Heilige Geest goed voor gezorgt.

Beter dat we de geest krijgen als dat we hem laten toch ?

De toren is niks speciaals nee maar de kleuren zijn als gewoonlijk verbazingwekkend mooi. Jij maakt van iets simpels toch weer iets speciaals...
