[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
This shot of the two lambs was taken near the previous photo of the swan.
Photo was taken with backlight. Personally I like the shadow of the lambs but feel free to disagree.

Very shy animals but inquisitive enough to give me a look into the lens...albeit a short one. Does my 20D produce to much shutter noise for them???

Shot in RAW
Converted in DPP. Saved as TIFF after sharpening
Opened in PS CS3: increased clarity, saturation.
Highlights and shadow adjustments
Velvia plugin CS3
Resized and framed.
Sharpened a little bit more
Converted to JPEG

Hi Owo!
Amazing lambs. Amazing scene. Wonderful POV and capture. Original shot.
Cheers!

beautiful light, nice pose of the lambs, excellent sharpness, exposure, dof and framing.
regards.

Excellent DOF and focus where it needs to be Edwin.
Love their expressions looking at you. Great subtle shadows too.
A charming and pleasing shot!

Hi , really nice shot, dof and lighting looks great, i also like the long shadows. There is nothing wrong with the composition, the lambs are very well placed i think but i felt that it is in between two compositions, maybe because of the long shadows. One would be with the shadows cut off from the bottom to focus on the lambs, and another one including all the shadows.
I tried a ws with the first option i mentioned, again nothing wrong with your picture but i just thought of these other options.

Terrific shot mate! Beautiful approach to the light, the backlighting is so soft and adds real charm to the shot. The saturation is rich and pleasing, the composition is excellent.
Great work

Hi Edwin,
interesting selective focus. The rich green on the grass and the light are also working very well for it.
Well done.
Best regards, Daniel
