This is another shot of my favorite palm tree in Simpson Bay! Only difference as you can see this one was taken at sunset!

Auto adjusted levels added a little sharp re-sized, re-sized again and again then uploaded to TL....

Enjoy Helen's Friday Theme.. I'm trying to think of something to post tomorrow for "fruit"

Hi Tricia,

I like the composition in vertical format . . and it fits with this pal tree . .
Lovely sunset . .

Tfs,
Tjutjut

Hi Tricia,
I'd love to be there. I really like the soft colours against the black palm tree.
A very good image.
Thanks for sharing.
Kind regards,
Britta

Same Tree, different time of day! I like it! Would prefer a little more saturation, but that's just me and my "hippie" views! Psychodelic! Really cool, wishin I was there!
B-)
Linda

Beautiful.
Good sharpness and details.
Only thing I don't like is the ladder nailed to the tree.

The WS - when in the tropics over-the-top is quite allright in my view Tricia......

Lovely soft atmosphere, that palmtree defenitely would be a favourite of mine as well.
Good luck with the fruits, did cost me a lot of time to get it how I wanted it ^-^.

Have a great day,

Els

Hi Tricia,
It dosen't get any better than this! The tropical sunset with the lonely plam tree in the foregrond is a very soothing sight. Excellent sharp details to this fine vertical presentation.
Regards, Tom
P.S. Now that Gunner is home he is not quite sure what his name is or to root for the Pats or the Giants.

TFS!!

Hello Tricia.
Cant let this go without a comment.
DUTCH "HOLLANDS" Picture with a Palmtree in it, wowo.!
That must be in the Caribeans.!
Best regards from Jan

Tricia, I compared the original and your WS.
Difficult ...
Because (top) half of the original is a " blue " sky, it marks the " tone ", expression of the photo. For MY taste a bit flat.
I do like the orange part and the clouds :
kind of " dreaming ".
In your WS I love the blue sky and the water.
So, for me, the result might be a mix of
my favorites.
Of course :-)
In both I like the silhouette of tree, FG
and " land in the sea "

Tfs
Jan

Lovely as is Tricia without the extra saturation. Nice soft colours and well composed. A spot to the right and towards the top of the palm tree which could have been cloned out. Why did you resize and resize and resize? TFS,
David
