A postcard from my beautiful island Malta. It includes some of the landmarks of the Maltese Islands.
The 'Gardjola' (Watch tower) built by the Knights of Malta in the 1500's. The Maltese Luzzu (local colorful fishing boat). An old Boathouse with the red sliding roof. The green trees spoilt with some yellowish color to show the Autmn season. And the blue sky over the bastion.

hi francis
very impressive shot, looks great in this vertical format, love the boat in the foreground dictates the rest of the image leads the eye up to the lovely castle, great colour and detail.
regards
jimmy

Ha, ha, Francis, you are doing a fine job to promote Malta.
I love how you have kept the whole of your shot so nicely focussed. The progression from the f/g to the upper b/g is natural, colourful and interesting.

Have a good Sunday,
Bev :-)

Hello, Francis -
Great POV to show all three of these signature items in a single frame - the long portrait format makes this possible. Bright, vibrant colors throughout, especially the boat, but also the roof and the band of foliage across the center. Beautiful image.

Hi Francis - nice view and I like the use of the portrait format here.

If anything I'd like to just see a bit more space under the bottom of the boat otherwise a nice shot of Malta with strong colour.

Cheers
DAvid

dear Francis Xavier,
a wonderful view shot of unique colors,
all elemental objects are well composed vertically,
and those colors make original colors concert.
in my feeling the coloring of the boat looks symbolizing the forest, the sky and the human houses.
the upper tower is quite like watching the whole view there.
thank you,
Akihisa

Superbe composition. La luminosité est splendide et l'étagement de centres d'intérêt de bas en haut très bien vu.

Hi Francis,
the beauty with excellent colours and light really make this scene captivating. The sky too is so beautiful, calm blue.
The tight crop also gives a good view to concentrate upon.

Regards,
Foozi

I find the interplay of green and blue and stone walls terrific and they make good balancing elements and motifs in this scene . The contrast is just right. Very colourful display of the Maltese trademarks : the un-missable boat with the eye at the prow , , fortresses built to defend were constructed at strategic points around the islands and to sum it up the bright blue sky so caracteristic to Malta ,
Beautiful shot Francis,
TFS ,
Carol
