Hi Francis,
The dry tree majestically enhanced by the blue and white sky.The two trees do give a interesting comparison.Clever framing, well presented.

OLá Francis, Bom dia,
Much more than the comparison of the two plants and the biological clock of each, it seems to me that it is imperative that you done a crop isolating that skeletal tree with its fantstic dramatic charge.
So you will have done one of the best pictures already displayed here on TL.
Best regards,
R.

Hello Francis,
An excellent capture with outstanding sharpness and clarity, lovely colours luminosity and very well balanced composition.
TFS and my regards,
Joy

Hi Francis.

High clarity of detail to this tree, the grain, the wethered areas and the bark thats left all are highly visible. The active sky and minimal green bodes well together. I like the mix of the two, old, new, good and bad.

stv ;o))

Looks like the tree on left is done with life as we know it, but maybe someday it will grow again. I like your pov and the use of the sky as background. Good lighting and wonderful colors. Well done, tfs.

Hi Francis...you make all your shots interesting. The texture and tones of this tree as well as the perfect focus make it very intriguing...nice work.

Roger

Hello Francis, is there any life left in the big tree? Whatever, it has lovely colours and texture, and set against that beautiful sky it is very impressive.
I like the inclusion of the green tree in the corner, it adds balance to the picture.
Tfs, regards Jean.

This is certainly an eye catching shot Francis, the tree looks like a hand reaching up to that wonderful blue sky full of moving cloud. The textures of the wood on the trunk are excellent. Although the green tree is not as striking, it is important here in the composition as it adds balance and also explains your reason for taking the shot.

Francis,

This is beautiful shot with 'shaved' tree, small tree with leaves and dramatic clouds in background. 5 tree branches and the stump gives impression of a hand with five fingers and trying to grab something from the sky...
