|The lake is known for its beautiful colors and this is also called in Ladin "Lec de ergobando" (or "arcoboŕn"), meaning "Lake of the rainbow."|
The spectacular aspect of the lake has always generated admiration and wonder. Around it are gathered many legends of South Tyrol. Its characteristics are derived from the legend of the nymph, nymph that inhabited the waters. The sorcerer Latemar was in love and tried several times to kidnap her. One day, recommended by the Witch Masarč, conjured over the Karersee a beautiful rainbow in order to attract the nymph. When the latter left the waters saw the sorcerer and fled scared. Then the magician, taken by great rage, took the rainbow and threw it into a thousand pieces in the lake. Since that day in the waters of Lake Carezza are reflected all the colors of the rainbow.

Just beautiful but is this all natural colours?
Great piece of art.
For contemplation the colors are a pleasure.
I applaud the rigor of composition.
I have seen this water color in the mountains when there is a lot of copper in it.
Like the strange color combination.
This is a mixture of different forms also styles like a little bit fantasia
and also an excellent note well done ARTURO ABBIATI
Avery good composition showcasing the mystical and legendary lake. I especially like how you've included the flowers and wooden post as part of your composition.
