Columns in Piazza dei Signori, Vicenza

Vicenza, in the Veneto Region, was designated a UNESCO
World Heritage site in 1994.  And for good reason.  It is a beautiful small city with an engaging atmosphere and a plethora of buildings and monuments that are at turns, interesting, important and compelling.

Foremost among these buildings, in Vicenza and in the surrounding area, are works designed by the inimitable but powerfully influential Italian architect Andrea Palladio, who worked here in the mid-16th century.

In the heart of the old town of Vicenza is the Piazza dei Signori, the site of the old Roman forum, with two columns dating from the Venetian period.

Hi Tsilla,
An interesting shot of this Piazza dei Signori with the two columns being the focal point and a sort of frame to this marvellous architectural shot!
Wonderful sunlight lighting this old architecture in such nice vivid colors.
Very sharp and well composed.
My best regards,

Francis Xavier

Hi Tsilla,

Another nice capture from lovely architecture of the building with warm color tones!

Great sky which brings nice mood into the shot, the sharpness and POV are well done and the pillars standing tall against the blue sky, look majestic.
