Back to Italy. One of my favourite places. There's so much variety in landscape, climate, culture, things to see and do etc.

This is a view of the distant Mont Blanc, highesy mountain in Europe. My boys and I had a few days skiing at La Thuile in the Aosta Valley. The ski area is twinned with La Rosiere in France and the border is only a short ski run away.

RAW, 1/160 sec at f9 and ISO 100, EV +1.3. Minimal PP.

Good picture David,
Colored by the presence of plaques that are usually oriented rejected by photographers and intense by the presence of massive icy mountain. Beautiful depth of field and very well built. It gave me great pleasure to see.

Hi David

Looks like the Southern Alps of New Zealand. Good sharpness & a nice wide angled view. The yellow & orange colors from the signs contrast well against the blue sky. Good shadow detail at left. Tfs!

Excellent.. Not easy on metering with those whites :)

Wow, what a place to be and you know the skill it takes to ski with a camera. I never did a ski trip without mine, however I looked pregnant through the whole experience! I didn't want to take a chance and fall on my camera! Love the levels here! The orange and yellow signs look great here, they break up the cool blues and whites.

Nice one David. I love the richness of the blue in the sky, and the graduation of the color. Nicely exposed too ... and nice to include the signs at the left.
Hope it was a good ski trip!

Hi David.

Stunning clarity and view, I like the addition of the coloured signs and map, the backdrop of mountains is a bonus lol. Very nice work. TFS
