A landscape in portrait mode; my title is "Looking out".

Looking out of a window of the museum at Assisi, across the Italian countryside. The museum is a part of the complex which is the Basilica and much much more.

I had to adjust the contrast due to the extremes of light.Hope that you like it.
Thanks for looking.

Just the perfect place to enjoy the green countryside of Italy , well processed btw in getting this postcard view well exposed throughout. Perhaps Jean a crop to leave out the side of the window on the left or aim a bit to the right but symmetry is what i have in mind for this one nevertheless a good entry to the theme in its vertical form i reckon, tfs,

Hi Jean
wonderful Tuscan landscape captured so nicely from the window with its grates adding a fine frame. good handling of shooting from indoors out. fine management of light. pleasant natural colors.

Hi Jean.

These theme days never ceases to amaze.
Superb way of viewing the Italian countryside by using one of their windows. We see so much of the lay of the land this way. I like the way the foreground is shaded, giving the view more dominance.

I know your missing the place Jean.

Beautiful view from above taken through the window, I like the idea and execution

I like the way you have presented this landscape Jean by looking out of this high window. This POV has captured many interesting details in the countryside beyond. I can imagine the lighting was difficult here but you have done a great job with the contrast. Nice addition to this weeks theme.

Bonjour Jean,

The idea of taking image of a landscape vertically from a window is a genuine idea. Beautifully managed light of the outter scene. Excellent details and nicely chosen PoV. Well done my friend. Thanks for sharing.

Hi Jean,
A very original approach to the theme through this iron barred window. Perfect exposure of this landscape shot. There's a good depth in the shot and perfect light management.
Very neat work.

Hi Jean,
A good choice for this weeks theme, your Portrait landscape viewed & captured from a window adds interest & mood to your composition. You handled the bright light well.Using the window as a frame for the Landscape really worked well. TFS

Hi Jean,
A great shot through the grills. Beautiful depiction of Tuscan countryside. This one brought back memories of a summer few years back. Thanks.
