[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
An alternative shot that I could have posted for the Friday theme is this one set in Florence looking across to The Baptistry.

"The Baptistry with its celebrated bronze doors, may date back to the 4th century, making it one of Florence's oldest buildings."

I included the crowds of people, as they search for the culture of Florence!

Thanks for looking.

They won't have to search to far Jean :-) I should imagine that most of these folks are tourists,& I noted that the Vespa rider was not riding, was this a pedestrian & horse & carriage area only? The capture of the lady with her arm around her man, adds a nice mood to your scene.TFS

Best Wishes,

Ron

Very nice architecture photo, very well captured building with many details, good light, clear and detailed photo
regards
Ryszard

Good contribution to Friday's theme but I'm more interest in the design of the building. I'm there's rational behind it. Nice to have the people for scale. Well done, tfs.

Nice clear well-balanced image, building photography is simply beyond me, I can never get it right. This gives a good sense of the location and I almost imagine being able to hear the footsteps and voices.

Perhaps it could have been a little more tightly cropped, perhaps just to the left of the vintage car (or cart?) behind the guy in the blue shirt?

I like the perspective, the tilts and crowded foreground has so much appeal.
Subtle toned sky is a joy.

Hi Jean
Another cracker. The buildings are as sharp as a pin, the sky has interesting wispy clouds and the crowd adds scale and interest. The motor scooter and horse and cart also add interest. Yep, lots going on. Another gem.
