[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
'The bridges of Florence' as seen from one of the viewing points that are set on a hill above the city.
Very hazy I know, but nevertheless, I think that it gives a good view of the series of bridges across the River Arno.
I had thought about posting this in the theme of 'Looking Through' but chose another shot instead.
Boosted saturation to emphasise the colours.
Thanks for looking.

Hi Jean.

WOW! a spectacular view of these bridges, old and new, I like what you have crammed in here, I can see a grassy bank to the right, its no doubt where many have taken their pictures from as see that angle in many images.
Very well done

stv ;o))

What a beautiful scene you have captured here, Jean!
Light and exposure are just fantastic, and colorful buildings do add to overall appeal of the cityscape. The sharpness and POV are excellent, and a bit of haze do add mood into the scene.
Well done!

Have a nice Sunday.

Kind regards,
Paras

Hi Jean,
I think you took this photo from the park across the river where a replica of Michelangelo's David statue is. One of the loveliest urban views in the world IMO, too bad about the smog. I have posted photos from the same location.

Nice pov of this famous city and I like the effect of the haze to the mood. Those buildings attached to the bridge, are they apartments? Good lighting and nice details. Well done, tfs.

Hi Jean,
a spectacular shot of the river and bridges, it must have been a real hazy day if that's it after you have boosted the saturation - well done
Jack

Boa tarde Jean,
We do not ever get tired of seeing this landscape as old and known.
Is that it is never the same, as this shot shows you where is present a beautiful mist.

Greetings Jean,
What a cool shot! I actually like the hazy look...I think it gives the photo an old world feel. Nicely done!

Super shot Jean, what a stunning view of all these bridges. I have never visited Florence but it looks an interesting place. You have captured so much detail in this shot. Its a shame its a little hazy but I think you were right to boost saturation to emphasise the colours of the buildings. The foreground bridge has so much interest, with all the buildings added on to the side and the three arches, giving us a view of the crowds of people walking across. If you don't mind I may do a workshop because this is an image with many Photoshop possibilities.
