Yesterday I shared a shot of a building where we enjoyed some lunch, well.... this is the view looking out of the restaurant's windows.

This is the spectacular Cascade di Nardis,a waterfall that plunges 90m [300ft].The water comes from a glacier higher up the mountain.
I stood outside the restaurant to get this view, and I decided to leave the figures in at the bottom of the shot so as to provide some sense of scale.

We were shown pictures from a few years ago when there was a torrent of water coming down the falls.Difficult to believe, but what a sight it must have been.

Thanks for looking.

I can almost hear the roar of the water coming down the waterfall. Seems like waterfalls are drying up, went to Yosemite last November only to find the Merced River almost dry therefore no waterfalls. Good pov and sharp details. Well done, tfs.

Hi Jean, with the inclusion of the car & the people only taking up so little space of this composition,
you have shown the viewer how tall these falls are.If this is the amount of water they show before a winter,it must be quite awesome after the snows melt. Clear, sharp & detailed.TFS

A nice cascade and beautiful greenery.
A very sharp and detailed shot.
Good light management.

Epic falls....can imagine the torrent of water cascading over at such a great height.
A great find.

Hi Jean,
WOW- this is wonderful. I love the hugeness of this waterfall. I like the inclusion of the person viewing to give perspective. Nicely done. What a great place. TFS Julie

Hi Jean
I like the fact you haven't included too much sky, and, the two waterfalls are almost perfectly on the lines of thirds.

Excellent depiction of the enormous waterfall by inclusion of those figures at the bottom. Truly speaking, I wouldn't have been able to estimate the size of the waterfall hadn't it been for the car and the bridge below. Tfs.

Bom dia Jean,
I admire anyone who can capture a waterfall with this beauty and perfection.
Beautiful picture.
