[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
This aircraft carrier was having some repair at the Italian Navy Depot is La Spezia, while the sailing boats were having a sort of a start in a race! This POV seems that there was some surveillance for the race, but far from it..it was not the case!!!

PP work: HDR with Orton effect

Ciao Francis, fascinating B&W composition with a lot of sailing boats, splendid light and excellent clarity, very well done, my friend, have a good Sunday, ciao Silvio

I'm not usually into heavy PP francis, but this looks great! A really 'stand-out' effect. Nice in B&W with the HDR and this Orton filter.

I like the trees growing out of the Carrier...

Cheers
DAvid

Hi Francis, I like the light reflecting on the hull of the ship and the few suns rays over the sailboats. Fiona

Hi Francis,
Rather unique and impressive image with a very powereful finish.Well created MF and TFS.

Bom dia Francis,
We can interpret this dramatic photo from a great variety of means and yours is softer.
Black & White was required here and the use of HDR with Orton effect was perfect.
Best wishes.
R.

Hi Francis
Great shot here.
Looks like La Spezia will be invaded.
B&W gives a dramatic effect ... it looks like a photo report of the fourties

Hi Francis.

I love the tones, so good you used b/w here, the darkened areas to the foreground enhances the backdrop of light and sail boats, epic capture, tfs

Hi Francis,

A great B&W shot. The high contrast HDR effect suits this one very much.

A superb interpretation in a superbly handled and well executed work with well suited title, Francis!

Great mood has been shown here and light is the best part of the show.
The B/W tones give the picture a vintage look and exposure control is brilliant.
Nice approach!

Kind regards,
Paras
