[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
"Suspended between sea, sky and earth, state road 163, which twists and turns along the full length of the Amalfi coast, offers stunning views at every corner"

"Until the 19th century, this stretch of coast was isolated and could only be reached by going up difficult mountain paths on mules.By the early 1900's, this very isolation had become the main appeal and the coast began to attract travellers, artists and writers."
[Eye witness travel guide to Naples and the Amalfi Coast.]

Taken from the coach that we were travelling on, I hope that this shot gives some idea of the drive with the twists and turns of the road.

Thanks for looking.

Hi Jean,
Lucky you - that's an area that 's on our travel list, but not enough time or money.
Normally I would suggest cropping off the road and post on the left but it does convey the twists and turns of the road that you were, looking for

salut jean,
avec ceux 2 joli courbes ça nous fait un beau panoramique très dynamique

Hi Jean, hey thats cheating, they have guardrails...Half of our winding roads are missing those little luxuries...Fun when you try passing crazy cyclists..If this was taken through the windows of the coach you did a great job. Fiona

Hi, Jean. Nice panoramic view from the state road 163. The view is very nice but I think the driver needs to pay attention to the road but the passengers will certainly enjoy the views. Exposure, sharpness and clarity is excellent. Cheers and thanks for sharing with us.

Hello Jean

Well done on the POV. I like the details with a different view of Italy. TFS

Hi Jean,
Clever format. The gently curving road winding its way through the landscape and your depth has shown the houses and town in the distance, a beautiful scene well presented.

Hi Jean, this is an excellent shot taken from the coach. Navigating those bends would have meant a nice slow speed to take the shot and the bus windows look nice and clean. Excellent composition with the little bit of road on the left contrasting nicely with the road and perspective on the right. The only slightly negative comment I would make would be with regard to the lamp post which does distract from the beautiful view.
