This is Marina Grande, Capri's main harbour.

"The first illustrious residents in Capri were the Roman emperors Augustus and Tiberius.For the last decade of his life, Tiberius ruled from Capri, and the ruins of his luxurious villa can still be seen today.

Despite this noble history, the island saw few visitors until the 19th century, when a poet named August Kopisch found the Grotta Azzura, which was known to locals but not to travellers on the Grand Tour.Eventually tourism began to flourish and Capri became the haunt of foreign politicians, artists and intellectuals."

Today it is an extremely busy place, bustling with tourists.
These were the colours of the day, no saturation has been applied.

Hi, Jean. Nice point of view when natural colors of this beautiful historical city. I like the composition the foreground sea, the middle colorful buildings and the background with the hill gives us so much information.

Hi Jean,

The widenees of the bay is giving depth to the composition. It is well divided, the sky, the mountains and an area of the city with the bay. The point of view is showing the details and the colors of the area of the city. Have a nice day.

Hi Jean,
A lovely spot to get away from the busy city. Colour looks natural and contrast is good. However, in my opinion, there is too much space in your foreground ... with landscape shots it is mostly desirable to have an interesting foreground to anchor your scene. But overall you've captured the scene well.

Personally I would have cropped off the lower part of the see to adjust the beach to the line of 1/3! Anyway, your picture is good!

Gorgeous colours and sharpness. I like the composition in equal thirds – sky / coast / sea. The 3D frame rounds this off nicely too.
