Guardian of Forever

as wikipedia says:
The Akashic records (Akasha is a Sanskrit word meaning "sky", "space" or "aether") is a term from Hinduism that was incorporated into Theosophy denoting a collection of mystical knowledge encoded in a non-physical plane of existence. The Records are supposed to contain all knowledge, including all human experience, of the history of the Cosmos. The Akashic Records are metaphorically described as a library and are also likened to a universal computer or the 'Mind of God'. The records are supposed to be constantly updated. The concept originated in the theosophical movements of the 19th Century, and remains prevalent in New Age discourse.

i belive in this theosophyc theory..
everything is in the air.. every action.. every move..
every feeling... every thought... leaves its trace..
Akasha is the echo back of the universe..
as the cosmic microwave background radiation..
This echo could be picked up... and looked as the TV waves..
more easly by awakening conscience than by television.. ;)))
I liked to see this ancient reverberation..
also here... in this little mirror of water rain..
Time past.. and time present.. here, are united.. as a door.. as a kiss...
as the Guardian of Forever in “The city on the edge of forever”..
this is, infact, in my imagination... a doorway to any time and place...
with periods of history displayed in the opening... and there.. in this reflection..
i looked at Pompeii.. 8 A.D. in a quiet and peacefully day of January..
of two thousands years ago..

Song for this mood is Noa... eye in the sky
Useful also to remember something about love and jealousy..
strange, yes... however it's a beutiful cover..

Comments and critics are welcome

have a nice WE
Bye bye

Ps: WS 1 is to have another larger pov...
Ps2: “The city on the edge of forever” is, of course, one of the best and my favorite episodes of Star Trek: The Original Series..
sorry I’m still.. and i’ll be a child.. forever..

Hi Marco,
beautiful colors of Pompei's ruins, tilt image fits its figure of extinction...yes all look on the way to ruin as Pompei.

all are chaining, and all memories are vanishing, in my thinking...
our knowledge is small, and unknown things are almost all...
even our small imagination knows merely our tiny and limited area, but chaos occupys unknown vast and unlimited area...
I cannot know where this space is, when this time began,,,

this your image of Pompei stimulates me that thinking.

thank you,
Akihisa

Hi Marco,

Hello Marco

At first impression of thumbnail, I cannot quite make out from where you shoot this from.

This gets very interesting when I opened the full size photo and it shows a slanted shot at 30 degree CW and then rotated 90 degree left?

Very good title for this piece of artwork. Reading from your Note, this is 2000 years ago?

We are lucky to preserve such historical landmarks and you are lucky to have chance to photograph it.

The monuments are incredible.

Great work, Marco, and thanks for sharing this.

Cheers,
bill

Ciao Marco :)

As usual since some days, you published very special compositions. You certainly are in your philosophical period :) Your notes are full of reflexions (too late to understand ... tomorrow i will be more opened ;)
Original way to present these ruins, nice light. I find a little bit too manipulated on the level of colours, nevertheless the composition is pleasant to look at ... no comparison with your last one ;)
Ciao ciao

Ciao, Cinzia

Bonsoir Marco,

Good shot of Pompeii Marco, I love the tilt, good light and colors, thanks !

Hi Marto,

I like the ground fading into the sky, the tilt is a kind of post nuclear war effect, or something like that, as if the camera was there alone on the ground...dramatic!!

i want to know your opinion about my ADHD :D
HEHHEHE;D

About this shot i don't know what to say!
I don't like red dots that digital cameras usually do! Still best way is to take An old Zenith and manual effort to take perfect shot without red pixels on it:D
And of course release it on your own with inks and liquids :D

Ciao

Diagonals are always eye-catchers. Combined with the sunset and the dramatic sky, they are a jewelry.
